70 Million Americans Suffer From Sleep Loss
How many days do you wake feeling refreshed and ready to start the day? If your answer was an eye roll and a reach for your cup of coffee, you are not alone. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 50-70 million people suffer from constant sleep loss or sleep disorders. A poll conducted by YouGov shows that almost half of Americans who report getting 7-8 hours sleep per night suffer from a feeling of tiredness or fatigue 1-3 days during the week. Only 20% of those who report averaging 7-8 hours sleep per night also report consistently waking feeling refreshed.
