70 Million Americans Suffer From Sleep Loss

November 22, 2016

How many days do you wake feeling refreshed and ready to start the day?  If your answer was an eye roll and a reach for your cup of coffee, you are not alone.  The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that 50-70 million people suffer from constant sleep loss or sleep disorders.

A poll conducted by YouGov shows that almost half of Americans who report getting 7-8 hours sleep per night suffer from a feeling of tiredness or fatigue 1-3 days during the week.  Only 20% of those who report averaging 7-8 hours sleep per night also report consistently waking feeling refreshed.
